Nokia 6 Has Started Getting Android 7.1.1 and April Security Patch Updates

Two new cool updates have started getting to the Nokia 6 that was launched a few months back, the update comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and April security patch which weighs around 370MB, as well as some other changes.

The Nokia 6 which was the first of Nokia company android flagship for this year, features a 5.5 inches-70.7% screen-to-body ratio, which is powered by Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 and Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. Talking about the memory, the phone comes with 64GB internal memory and 4GB RAM, while the battery capacity is 3000mAh.

To Install The New Update

Make sure you have up 80% battery charged and make sure you unroot your phone if rooted and also you should also have up to 1.3GB of data on your Sim if not find the nearest strong WIFI network to connect.


  • Now go to your phone Settings.
  • Scroll down to "about phone".
  • Tap on "system updates".
  • There you will see the update.

  • Now hit on download and allow it to update successfully.
